How it works for law firms

Send the link when the matter closes, along with your closing letter.

1

Send your link

Each location gets its own link and QR code that goes straight to the right Google listing.

2

They tap, we help

Your customer picks a star rating, words that fit and what you did (like consultation or estate planning), then adds a line of their own.

3

They post it

UpYours drafts the review in their words, never adding praise they didn't give. They copy it and post it themselves.

Your state bar's rules

Rules on asking clients for reviews vary by state. UpYours never offers anything in exchange for a review and never posts for anyone, but check your bar's guidance. Avvo is supported alongside Google.

Questions

More answers on the main FAQ.

Is this allowed by Google?

Yes. Google lets businesses ask customers for reviews. It doesn't allow fake or paid reviews, or only asking happy customers. UpYours does none of those: every customer sees the same review buttons, writes their own words and posts from their own account.

Do you filter out bad reviews?

No. A customer who picks fewer than five stars can send you a private message instead, which we email to you right away. The public review buttons stay on their screen the whole time.

Do customers need an app or an account?

No. Your link opens in their phone's browser. The only account they need is the one they post the review with, like their Google account.
